Trap shooting is one of the three major disciplines of competitive clay pigeon shooting (shooting shot guns at clay targets). The other disciplines are skeet shooting and sporting clays.
In trap shooting, the targets are launched from a single “house” or machine, generally away from the shooter.
Trap shooting is practiced all over the world. Trap shooting variants include but are not limited to international varieties Olympic trap, also known as “International Trap”.
Trap shooting is held Tuesday evenings at 6:30 P.M. during the summer, and on Saturdays at 11 A.M. during the winter. Check the club calendar for current times.
